See fitting guide below. Fitting Guide Clean the vehicle panel thoroughly and ensure its dry before applying the graphics. Remember to clean between the panel gaps as the vinyl will tuck into this area. The below guide can be followed for both a dry or wet installation. Most colours other than black, white & carbon will require a wet install. This is simply applying application solution (available to order here) or water with a drop of washing liquid to the adhesive side of the graphic. You can then move the graphic around on the car, then squeegee out when happy with the positioning. 1. Roughly cut out the decal, keeping the locating tabs in place. These tabs have been designed to align the graphic 35mm down from the fold line on a mk4 Ford Focus. You can use this as a general guide on any car, or alternatively disregard this part and manually measure your positioning. Image Pending 2. Align the decal using the two vinyl tabs as a guide. Align the top tab to the fold line in the body work (mk4 Focus) and ensure both tabs sit evenly within the panel gap 3. Wet installation method: Once in position, gently squeegee out the application fluid. Increase pressure slightly once its held in position to remove as much liquid a possible. Leave for a few minutes to dry (this may take longer in colder conditions). Gentle heat from a heat gun or hair dryer can be used. Dry installation method: Once in position, gently squeegee the graphic down following the length of the decal. Tiny channels in the vinyl adhesive should allow air to escape for a bubble free application. If a bubble does appear that can't be squeegeed out, carefully lift up the graphic from one end and squeegee back down. Once locked into position, apply a little more pressure to fully adhere the graphic to the body panel. A little heat can help activate the adhesive in colder conditions. Image Pending 3. Carefully peel off the application tape by peeling it almost 180 degrees back on itself (close to the bodywork). Take particular care around the panel gap area or where any cut out logos are. Image Pending 4. Using a sharp blade, carefully cut the graphic over the panel gap. Keep the blade as central to to the gap as possible as these loose ends will be tucked round the edges. Image Pending 5. Installation is complete! Leave for 24 hours before washing to allow the adhesive to fully bond.
