The Veiled Passage Ring is a wide sterling silver ring whose face is sculpted as a pair of tall doors standing slightly apart. A long-haired figure fills the gap between them, one hand gripping the top edge of the door and the other holding it open lower down, her head turned outward. The doors carry a deep vertical grain running their full height, so the surface reads as timber rather than metal and the opening becomes the one dark area on the ring. The scene stops just before the figure steps through, an image of what is hidden and about to be seen, sculptural rather than religious.
