It’s based on an old French design. They are polished stainless steel, and they’re made for Velo Orange by a manufacturer of yachting hardware in the US. This mount is great on old er bikes that don’t have the room for a spacer-type bell mount under the headset nut. It’s also perfect for those who want to maintain their bike’s classic appearance.
