The Veritas Cables Velox is our entry-level USB product, aimed at providing a clear upgrade over the stock throwaway cables typically bundled from manufacturers. Velox is made from high-purity silver-plated copper with excellent shielding to keep noise out of your system and thus minimize jitter. While this is technically our most affordable USB cable, Velox doesn't tend to be a bottleneck even in very resolving systems. We've had multiple customers use it in some pretty extreme scenarios and come away pleased with the performance. Velox is the type of cable that would easily sell for $500+ if it came from a big brand with a correspondingly big marketing budget. We're proud to offer it at $229 for the standard 1.5m configuration - spend your savings on music instead! Note that the standard configuration is 1.5m with USB A on the DAC end and USB B on the source end, which is the typical setup needed for the vast majority of DAC/transport combos out there. But we can also do USB C as a special request as that smaller connector is popping up here and there in the audiophile world.
