Velvet is a framed original acrylic painting by Nick Purser. The rich prussian blues offset against the golds put me in mind of the texture of velvet in this experimental piece. I like the soft light of the whites at the edges giving it a suffused, bleached effect.Overall framed dimensions: 64 x 64cms, 3.2cms in depth. The frame is an elegant antique gold ‘floating’ frame with a 5mm space between the canvas and frame edge. Canvas dimensions: 61cms x 61cms, 1.8cms in depth. Stretched 380g canvas.
