Velvet Queen is an annual sunflower that produces beautiful rusty-red petals complemented by rich, dark brown centers. We adore the petals of this variety, which have a multi-dimen sional color pattern that makes them appear as though they have been painted with a paintbrush. The beautiful four to five-inch-wide flowers are borne prolifically over several weeks, supported by sturdy, multi-branched stems that reach five to seven-feet tall. Velvet Queen is an excellent variety for creating living fences and is also well-suited for arrangements. Matures 75-100 days from planting. Each packet contains a minimum of 50 seeds. Show more
