The dark chocolate counterpart to Venchi's milk hazelnut classic. Two whole, PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts from the Langhe area are set in a 60% dark chocolate shell. The darker chocolate brings out the hazelnut's natural bitterness and depth, creating a more complex, less sweet experience than the milk version. A taste of Piedmont's chocolate tradition at its most refined. Venchi has been using PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts since 1878, and these ingots showcase exactly why: the hazelnuts have a richness, crunch, and aroma that no other variety can match. Gluten-free. We carry Venchi because they represent the standard we hold every product in our store to. Tasting notes: Whole toasted PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts in 60% dark chocolate. Pairs with: A double espresso, a glass of Nebbiolo, or aged Parmigiano. Perfect for: Dark chocolate lovers, hazelnut purists, and anyone who prefers their chocolate with less sweetness and more depth. Find it at The Ambrosian Pantry, 263 Josephine St in Cherry Creek, Denver, alongside one of the most carefully curated selections of craft chocolate in the country.
