Our first in-house engine offering, the Venom 80cc, has been in the making for quite awhile. We first started to work with the factory in late 2023 to produce this engine. It has a 50 mm piston, large custom head and electrophoresis plated cylinder. The intake will accommodate a simple, yet effective, Bofeng carburetor. Customers wanting more performance can swap the intake for a larger one with 40 mm bolt spacing and install a larger carburetor. The exhaust port will accommodate any exhaust used for a typical 66/80 bicycle engine. We also worked closely with the BT factory to mate the cylinder to a crankcase (used in the BT-80/100) that contains large cylinder transfers. Furthermore, all Venom 80 cc engines come equipped with large BT crankshaft, heavy duty internal clutch spring, high speed crank bearing, 12mm wrist-pin, and carbon fiber reeds. In our performance testing with baseline 40mm stroke and better exhaust, we achieved 50 mph very easily.
