When mature and in good growing conditions, the traps can measure over 1.5". In good light it develops deep red color, and a red strip on the underside. It is a registered cultivar developed by Henning von Schmeling. The name comes from the naming system used by Henning in his VFT development program. Coincidently, B52 also denotes a very large bomber aircraft used by the US Strategic Air Command. Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. In it's dormant season, it will be shipped as a dormant corm. Photographs are representative of the cultivar, and not the specific plant shipped.
