Original linocut · Limited edition of 24 copies There are works that are born from an idea and others that are born from a necessity. Verano Azul belongs to the latter. After months immersed in painting, I felt the need to return to the silence of engraving, to the slow work of my hands, to the smell of ink and the sound of the press. I wanted to step away for a moment from large format and reconnect with an artisanal process where each print demands time, attention, and respect. This work is inspired by that feeling of freedom that I only find during summer: the coolness by the sea, the calm of Marbella, the light of Cadaqués, and those moments when the heat disappears as you approach the water. It's an image that speaks of rest, of the beauty of stopping time, and of enjoying simple things. Created in my Oneline style, the composition is born from a single continuous stroke that connects the entire image as if it were a breath. Over that drawing, blue becomes the protagonist: a color that evokes the sea, the sky, and the serenity I sought while creating this edition. Each of the 24 copies has been hand-printed by me in a completely artisanal way. I engraved the linoleum plate myself, inked it, and passed it through the press, one by one, carefully ensuring that each impression retains the strength and personality of an original work. It is not a reproduction. It is an original graphic work born from the direct work of my hands. Each copy is numbered, signed, and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. “Each print retains the small traces of the manual process. It is precisely these subtle variations that make each copy a unique piece within a limited edition.” Specifications Title: Verano Azul Technique: Original one-color linocut Color: Blue Series: Oneline Paper: Fabriano 220 gsm Dimensions: 35 × 50 cm Year: 2026 Edition: 24 copies Hand-signed and numbered Certificate of authenticity included
