This charming species is a native of North America, proudly growing throughout the United States and reaching down to Nicaragua. You'll often spot it in the beautiful Great Plains and the lush Blackland Prairies of the Southeast. This plant loves open grassy areas, like prairies, and thrives both in high-quality communities and regions that have experienced some natural disturbance. Glandularia bipinnatifida is a lovely herbaceous or semi-woody evergreen perennial that graces us with pink or purple blossoms, predominantly in the spring, but don't be surprised if you catch it blooming at various times during the growing season.
