Very few names loom larger in Italian aromatized wine than Giulio Cocchi (pronounced COKE-ee), who began producing his wines in 1891 in Asti. His bottlings became world-renowned du ring the Belle Epoque, and the solidification of cocktail culture, but at their core, his wines are still meant to be drank as aperitif wine.
