Veronica repens is a tough creeper that forms a solid mat of green. Also known as Creeping Speedwell, its pearl white flowers almost entirely cover the plant in mid spring. Veronic a repens is evergreen and also self-sows making it a nice ground cover. A versatile perennial, it can be used as an under story planting for rhododendrons and azaleas or around pavers and between stepping stones.
