This is an interesting old boiler, from the collection of an 80 year old gentleman who built it shortly after the war. It was modelled on a boiler of which he had a photograph, ann otated on the back "Dr Orvill Owen. Digging in ??? bed at Castleford, 1913". The boiler itself is of J-tube construction, fitted with hand pump, safety valve and water gauge. Whilst it appears soundly contructed and in good order, in deference to its age it is sold un-tested as a "period piece", complete with the original photograph. Overall height 18 inches Show more
