Vestrus is a local-first portfolio manager designed for self-directed investors who want to maintain, monitor, and analyze their investments without handing their working portfolio record to a subscription platform or brokerage-connected service. It brings holdings, cash, transactions, account views, charts, market context, portfolio history, gain/loss analysis, reporting, and longer-range outlook tools together in one information-dense workspace designed to remain under the user’s control. Vestrus is manual-first by design. You maintain the portfolio record yourself, while optional user-supplied Finnhub and Tiingo market-data access can provide current prices and supporting market context. No brokerage connection is required. Like other Earth Shack Software tools, Vestrus runs as a single HTML file in a modern browser. No Earth Shack account. No installation. Your working portfolio data and backups remain under your control. Is Vestrus right for you? 📊 Self-Directed Investors You want to maintain your own portfolio record and see holdings, cash, transactions, performance, charts, and account information together without depending on a brokerage dashboard. 🧭 Long-Term Portfolio Owners You care about where the portfolio has been, where it stands today, and where it may be headed.
