Vetikone is vetiver made fresh and radiant. It keeps the cool, rooty, green-woody heart of the natural, but lifts it with a bright squeeze of grapefruit and a sweet gardenia floral cy. The effect is clean and tea-like, brighter and less earthy-heavy than raw vetiver. Use it to build modern vetiver accords or to pull vetiver up into the top of a fragrance, where it adds air and light. It brightens woody and chypre bases, freshens masculine colognes, and gives fern and floral structures a green, rooty spine. As with most vetiver synthetics, it pairs very well with grapefruit notes.
