Elevating bait off the bottom not only increases its presence, but also minimizes the chances of it being taken by stingrays or crabs. The Jingle Dangle is equipped with a glass rattle for added fish enticement. Though this idea has been around for many years, the concept of the jingle dangle was perfected by our friends "Back in South Africa" for use in surf fishing. For optimal buoyancy and casting capability, the Jingle Dangle is best utilized with a single circle hook and an English-style, clipped down pulley rig. The type of bait used for the presentation will vary depending on the targeted species, but squid, pilchards, and fresh cut fish like mullet or tailor can all be molded around the Dingle Dangle using a high-quality latex bait thread such as Vexed Fillet or Squid Thread.
