They became VA-115 in July 1948, and for many years were nickn amed the 'Arabs' until changed for obvious reasons. They also gave up their Intruders based out of NAS Whidbey Island in the early '90s and transitioned to the F/A-18C Hornet flying out of NAS Lemoore, CA. This is their version of one of their tailfins for VFA-115 'Eagles' that has the "Eagle" shown on it. Show more
