VFL Audio BIG3 100% Oxygen-Free Copper 0 Gauge Big 3 Upgrade Kit Sold by AudioSellerz.com The VFL Audio BIG3 100% Oxygen-Free Copper 0 Gauge Big 3 Upgrade Kit is made to upgrade the main charging and grounding paths in your vehicle’s electrical system. This is not a normal amplifier wiring kit. It is a Big 3 upgrade kit designed to improve current flow between the alternator, battery, engine block, chassis, and factory electrical system. If you are adding amplifiers, subwoofers, mids, highs, lithium, AGM batteries, or a high output alternator, the Big 3 is one of the first electrical upgrades you should consider. Factory charging cables are often small, old, corroded, or not built for upgraded car audio power demands. This VFL Audio BIG3 kit uses 100% oxygen-free copper 0 gauge cable to help reduce resistance, support stronger charging performance, and give your car audio system a better electrical foundation. A Big 3 upgrade replaces or supplements the main factory charging and grounding cables with larger, higher-quality wire. In most vehicles, the Big 3 upgrade focuses on these three major electrical paths: Alternator positive to battery positive Battery negative to chassis ground Engine block ground to chassis or battery ground These upgrades help the alternator and battery move power more efficiently through the vehicle. For car audio systems, that can help with voltage stability, dimming lights, charging performance, and overall electrical reliability. Kit Includes 6ft 0 gauge OFC power cable with ring terminal Two 4ft 0 gauge OFC ground cables with ring terminals Black nylon cable clamps Washer head Tek screws Black zip ties Additional ring terminals Key Features Designed for Big 3 electrical upgrades 100% oxygen-free copper 0 gauge cable Improves main charging and grounding paths Helps reduce electrical resistance Supports upgraded amplifiers and car audio systems Helps reduce voltage drop and dimming lights Useful with stock alternators or high output alternator upgrades Includes cable, terminals, clamps, screws, and zip ties for installation Why Upgrade the Big 3? Car audio amplifiers demand more current than many factory electrical systems were designed to support. Even if you install a powerful amplifier, battery, or alternator, weak factory wiring can still limit how well the system performs. A proper Big 3 upgrade gives the electrical system better paths for power and ground. That can help the charging system work more efficiently and reduce strain on the factory wiring. This is especially important if your system has: Aftermarket amplifiers Subwoofer upgrades High-power mids and highs A high output alternator AGM or lithium battery upgrades Headlight dimming or voltage drop Old, small, or worn factory charging cables Better Electrical Support for Car Audio The VFL Audio BIG3 0 gauge OFC kit is a strong upgrade for daily car audio systems, bass builds, demo vehicles, and vehicles getting ready for larger amplifiers or upgraded charging equipment. It can help support: Cleaner power transfer Better ground paths Reduced voltage drop More stable amplifier performance Improved charging-system efficiency A stronger foundation for future upgrades Installation Notes Always inspect your vehicle’s charging system before installation. Make sure all connection points are clean, secure, and free of paint, rust, corrosion, or loose hardware. For best results, use proper crimping tools, secure the wire safely, protect cables from heat and sharp edges, and fuse the alternator-to-battery positive cable when required for the installation. If you are not comfortable working around your battery, alternator, or vehicle electrical system, have the Big 3 upgrade installed by a qualified car audio shop or automotive electrical professional. Need a Big 3 With a High Output Alternator? Yes. If you are upgrading to a high output alternator, a Big 3 upgrade is strongly recommended. The alternator can only help your system if the charging path and grounds are strong enough to move the current safely and efficiently.
