All clear PVC held together with thick taped seems to provide water proof during adverse weather. Although it lacks the extended canopy (that the Ultimate tent has), it still has a large rain fly, with walls to protect you from the weather while in the views from front and back of the tent. Large hinges, enable storage of sleeping gear (pillows, duvets, sheets ect) in the tent while traveling around.
