This blend of 40% Cabernet Franc and 60% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from 30-50 year old vines grown on volcanic soils with white marl and red staggering at 180m above sea level. The grapes undergo 20 days of maceration in stainless steel followed by 10 months aging in tonneaux, showcasing Alberto's ability to craft wines of absolute quality and finesse without any chemical additives. V.V. is intense and complex, offering notes of ripe red fruits, black currant, sweet spices, and a touch of aromatic herbs.
