This Primitivo Riserva "Zolla Series" from Vignetti Del Salento has a ruby red colour with violet reflections. It offers a complex bouquet with notes of cherry, blackberries, black currant combined with spice of vanilla, coffee and toffee. A red with great body, velvet tannins and long persistence. The grapes are carefully selected as over-ripe and from the low yielding vines which are over 30 years old and grow in red soil rich in iron oxides on a layer of calcareous rock. The combination of these elements creates a wine that can enrich the tasting experience beyond the most ambitious expectations.
