A single-plot Rosé of remarkable pedigree, 100% Pinot Noir from a vineyard in Verzy Grand Cru planted in 1965, now over 60 years old. The Vignes Goisses are the old vines of Verzy: Pinot Noir rooted deep in the chalk, producing grapes of intense concentration. The wine is made from a blending of red wine and base wine from this single plot. 100% oak barrel vinification, no fining, no filtration, no cold stabilization, natural yeasts, no chaptalization in most years. A capsule designed with sommelier Alessandra Meoni, described by the house as a tribute to femininity. Mundus Vini Gold 2024, Berliner Wine Trophy Gold 2024. Tasting notes: Elegant and fruity. Very expressive, open nose of small red stone fruits evoking a childhood memory, raspberry syrup. On the palate: the width of the fruit and the depth of the soil combine. The power of the grape variety, the delicacy of Verzy, the chalk and the concentration of the old vines. A beautiful balance, crunchy fruit chiselled by the freshness of the chalk. Food pairing: Salmon canapés, pâté en croûte, Ibérico charcuterie (Pata Negra, Serrano), semi-cooked foie gras marinated in red wine, chocolate fondant with a red fruit coulis.
