The head has been forged using carbon steel to achieve the "Petersen Type M" shape associated with the Viking Age. The shaft has been hand-crafted from Rosewood and finished with our signature beeswax and linseed oil blend, which helps protect, aids in grip, and brings out the wood's natural grain. Each axe is supplied with a hand-sewn leather sheath that connects with push buttons for quick and easy removal. This throwing axe takes inspiration from the ironic and feared Dane Axe, featuring the same Petersen Type M axe head shape. This well-balanced axe has been reinforced to be the perfect addition to any throwing arsenal.
