Size: 5.2 x 3.1 ft. Origin: Mazlighan, Persia Circa: 1970s Material: Pure Wool This vintage Mazlighan Persian rug is a vibrant hand-woven wool carpet that exemplifies traditional Persian artistry from the Mazandaran region. The rug showcases a bold central field in rich red, adorned with three large geometric medallions in varying shades of blue, ivory, and rust. Surrounding these medallions, intricate floral and vine motifs add detail and complexity. The wide border features repeating floral and geometric patterns in coordinating colours, framing the design beautifully. The dense wool pile ensures durability and a plush texture, making this rug both a functional and visually captivating addition to any interior. Authentic vintage and antique Persian rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to these rugs' handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects. Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. In addition, we advise using a rug pad with a grip back to keep your rug in position and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug. Our rugs are professionally cleaned.
