Size: 2.9 x 2 ft. Origin: Native American Circa: 1980s Material: Pure Wool This beautiful vintage Native American Navajo kilim is a striking example of Southwest artistry, handwoven in wool with the bold geometry characteristic of Navajo weaving. The design centres around large diamond medallions, stepped and mirrored to create symmetry, rendered in a vibrant palette of turquoise blue, soft pink, deep plum, and sandy beige. The sharp zigzag edges and layered colour transitions give the piece an energetic, almost pulsating rhythm, while the plum-colored border frames the composition with balance and strength. Crafted with exceptional skill, this kilim reflects the cultural heritage of the Navajo tradition, where symbolic motifs often represent harmony, balance, and connection to nature. Durable yet decorative, it works beautifully as both a floor rug and a wall hanging, adding warmth, authenticity, and Southwestern charm to any space. Authentic vintage and antique Native kilims are handwoven with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind.
