The 2021 Red Right Hand Shiraz Tempranillo Grenache is a stylistic interpretation of an Australian classic with a twist in the tale. Rich, ripe Shiraz stars as the hero of this wine, whilst juicy Grenache supports as the beguiling heroine, filling the palate with fleshy fruit sweetness. The cameo of Latino Tempranillo gives the whole performance its pulse and distinctive spiciness; older oak maturation gives great length and soft finish. The wine consists of 65% Shiraz, 22% Tempranillo, and 13% Grenache from Margaret River along with 40% from Frankland River. Each variety is fermented separately in open-topped vats using traditional methods. The resulting wines are aged in a mix of French oak barrels for 12 months before being blended.
