Vinca Minor is one of the most popular and widely used ground covers. Trailing stems with smooth, evergreen leaves (to 1.5" long) root at the nodes as they go along the ground and quickly spread to form an attractive ground cover. Masses of bright blue star-like flowers appear from Spring and throughout the year. A great hardy ground cover that continually spreads. Ideal for a shady areas and under story plantings. Prefers a part-shade position in a well-drained soil with added compost, but will adapt to most conditions. give a light prune after flowering to keep to desired shape and avoid it escaping.
