We designed our Vincerò notebook to mark the centenary of the first performance of Puccini's opera Turandot in 1926. "All'alba vincerò! Vincerò! Vincerò!" ("At dawn, I will conquer !") is the climactic final cry of the celebrated aria "Nessun Dorma". Sung by the tenor Calaf, it is a declaration of absolute confidence; a vow made to the darkness that dawn will bring victory.
