How to Set Up Your Vine Trellis Support Push each pair of springs firmly into the soil about 24” apart, making sure the tops are level to create a straight line of support. Slide the 24” EMT bar between the springs to form a stable horizontal base for your vines. Space each VineBuddy setup evenly down the row to provide consistent support for every plant. This setup works especially well with lower-and-lean systems. Care and Storage After harvest, remove the EMT bars and springs, brush off excess soil, and store them in a dry location.
