Rather than controlling your own worker, all players collectively move the same set of workers around the vineyard, which means every turn sets something up for someone. The challenge is in timing: knowing when to act, when to let someone else do the heavy lifting, and how to build your own upgrade path to make your moves matter more than theirs.
