Elegance / Complexity / Longevity Grape Varieties: 45% Touriga Nacional, 45% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz Alcohol: 14.5% Vine Age: 1985 Exposure: North Vinification – The grapes, sourced from the northern vineyard and carefully selected in the vineyard, were transported to the winery in 20 kg crates. A further selection was carried out on the sorting table, and after destemming the grapes were placed in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, where they fermented for 7 days. After fermentation, the wine remained in contact with the skins for a period of 10 days, after which it was gently pressed, with the free-run juice separated from the pressed juice. Aging – 20 months in 225-liter French oak barrels. The final blend results from the selection of the best barrels. Tasting Notes Color: Deep ruby, almost opaque.
