A unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade coat made from a fantastic vintage mid-century blanket. The blanket is warm and cosy but not too heavy. The overlapping window-pane style geometric check pattern combines tonal greens, grey, white and zingy citrus yellow accents to stunning effect. The alternative colour way on the reverse of the weave can be seen on the inside of the coat. The two front pockets, hem and cuffs are trimmed with cream bias tape. Chunky vintage buttons for fastening. Would fit around a size 12/14 depending on the fit required. The shoulders are slightly dropped rather than very close fitting, please see all the measurements below.
