On the snake's head sit three small single cut diamonds and she has rubies for eyes. This highly decorative ring is fashioned from solid 18ct gold and is a heavy piece at 7.5 grams in weight. Beautifully made - a real craftsman's creation - with all enamel in tact. Snakes are one of the most enduring motifs in jewellery, used from ancient times right up to today with a variety of meanings. This ring was made in a era when Bulgari and Cartier and Boucheron were all producing fantastic serpent pieces for high profile clients like Elizabeth Taylor.
