A vintage style 9 ct gold padlock locket set with a central garnet surrounded by 4 seed pearls. Padlocks symbolise commitment, strength and constancy which can be found in love and can also extend to friendship. This is reinforced with the beautifully deep red January birthstone - Garnet. A gemstone which is often associated with love, protection, trust and commitment. In addition, pearls are wonderfully imbued with the colours of the rainbow and also represent similar qualities. This keepsake locket has a detachable glass back, which you can use to display a precious keepsake such as a lock of hair. It is also suitable for inserting 1 photo.
