Now this is a strange thing that sowed up at our warehouse recently, initially worn by a Sgt in the RAF in the 1980's it was issued to him for use when operating forklift. The desi gn history of these actually stretch back to the 1880's as they were made for dock workers that were operating donkey steam engines. this particular one is made by the Arthur Miller company of kent and seems to date from the mid 70's. its in very good condition considering its age and intended use which would seem to indicate that it wasn't heavily used.
