Inspired by a vintage antique find, this is our version of a “make do” patchwork, using favorite large florals, toweling stripes, linens and other “nubby” textured fabrics. We used actual toweling pieces for the [k] pieces and used up scraps in other parts. I recommend washing toweling prior to use to get a more used feel and even perhaps “tea staining” them if they are too white [more info on last page of pattern]. We added the textured fabrics into the pieced blocks and used our favorite (4) large florals in the [a] blocks. The rest is up to you.
