These realistic life-sized pinecones are made of solid cast brass. It's a neat design with the top (rachis) having a brass bar pin that extends to the bottom and each layer of scal es slips on in stacked rings. They were made in India and are fairly weighty! SOLD INDIVIDUALLY, there are two sizes and two finishes. The smaller are 2.5 inches long and the larger are 4 inches long, some are bright golden hued and untarnished, and the others are so tarnished they look nearly black (with some work you can get them polished up and brassy again-if that's the look you want-see photo of underside for results after polishing).
