The word Huipil comes from the náhuatl word “Huipilli”, which means “my cover up” and it is known to be a common upper body piece as well as a dress, first registered to be used by indigenous women in southern states of Mexico. The Vintage Huipil is a beautiful traditional upper body piece, handmade out of synthetic fabric and enhanced with cotton yarn embroidery. Holding on to its originality, the Huipil comes in a wide style fits all.
