Very spicy, peppery, rooty, meaty, cassis jam, black cherry, iodine, tobacco aromas. Ripe, round, supple but slightly rustic and tart palate. Blueberry, peppery, blackberry, coffee , vanilla, licorice root, savoury flavours. Good intensity if a bit rustic and young. Needs 2-4 years or try with roast lamb. Score - 89.
