The 2010 Gagliole (90% Sangiovese blended with Cabernet Sauvignon) is a dark and hearty Tuscan red with thick layers of black fruit, spice, leather and fragrant pipe tobacco that p eel off with steady determination. The palate is marked by similar intensity and there is enormous plushness and richness that is both memorable and impressive.
