Despite the tough vintage, an excellent effort here. Love the density of tannins in particular, razor thin but not drying at all. Fruit is lively, with shades of darker fruits, and a succulent juicy quality. Oak is already nicely incorporated. You can sense the minerality, anchoring the wine. Touch of tar on the finish.
