Eclipsing most 'pioneers' in California by a century, Buena Vista Winery was founded in 1857 and is often touted as California's first premium winery. This wine may be called 'Buen a Vista' (good view), but it's certainly not shy on 'buen gusto' (good taste). Ripe, bright citrus fruit and suggestions of creamy vanilla delight in this sunny, round, deliciously flavourful Chardonnay. A good choice for crab legs or grilled pork.
