This is a very drinkable wine that carries its weight easily. As you'd expect from a Niagara 2012 red, the fruit is ripe and well concentrated, and there's a good degree of complex ity. It's fairly round and even a little fleshy, and the acid comes through clean and fresh. The tannins are easy-going, the finish is spicy and fruit-dominant, and there's an overall attractive lightness in tension with the concentration of the fruit.
