The 2011 Nerello Mascalese Feudo di Mezzo delivers medium body and a pretty garnet color with amber highlights. This is a beautiful wine that comes into splendid view with two or t hree hours of aeration. Dried fruit and forest floor segue to white almond skin and dusty volcanic notes. This Nerello Mascalese (with 15% Nerello Cappuccio) stands out for its elegance and grace.
