Bright red-purple; a small amount of viognier is included, the grapes open-fermented and plunged, then matured for 10 months in new and used French oak. The complex yet eminently a pproachable wine has an aromatic bouquet of the red and black fruits that drive the fresh, medium-bodied palate, oak and tannins both making a positive contribution.
