The Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva once again took the tasting panel by surprise. The 2012 vintage is a graceful, subtle wine, though faithful to its Mediterranean roots. On the nose , it releases aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and sweet spices, while on the palate the tannins are ripe and silky, signing off with a savoury finish and a fresh, balsam texture.
