The straw-colored 2013 Rudesheimer Berg Roseneck Riesling Trocken Katerloch from the Katerloch parcel is clear, precise and concentrated on the nose where scents of roses and lyche es lead aromas of limes, grapefruit and crushed stones. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, the fruit completely interwoven with the mineral taste of crushed rocks. This is a precise and piquant Riesling with a firm structure that is so tightly woven that it is still not ready to dance but will the more so do in a couple of years.
