Flabbergasting overachiever, the 2010 Terroir Caché is unquestionably one of the greatest Bordeaux-blends ever produced in the Niagara Peninsula, likely only to be surpassed by the La Brunate when it is released. Dark-opaque ruby in colour and finely toasted, it delivers enticing, almost illustrious aromas of black cherried currants and mocha; giving way to blackberries, dried blueberries, licorice, forest floor, incense traces, and a hint of espresso, vanilla, and spice. Very complex, with exceedingly delicious fruit, firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a glorious hint of black cherried crème de cassis and dark mocha on the finish.
