Once of the best vintages for this entry level pinot noir in recent memory. Colour is a pretty star-bright garnet. Exhibiting great purity of fruit - dominated by cherries - sour, black and bing. Delicate notes of pepper and musk elevate the fruit and add dimension to the palate. Very clean, neat and focused. Light to mid weight but substantially complex. An impressive layereing of flavours holds interest and includes notes of fleshy fruit, pine needles and resin, dried herbs, violets and pepper.
